At Shakehand, we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your data. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and process your personal information when you use our website, application, services, and Google Integrations.
2. Information We Collect
To provide our cold outreach sequencing services, we collect several types of data, including:
- Account Information: Name, email address, password, and subscription details when you sign up.
- Connected Mailboxes: IMAP/SMTP credentials, server hosts, ports, and OAuth access tokens for accounts you link to send sequences and poll replies.
- Campaign Data: Prospect lists, contact emails, sending logs, template details, and message histories.
3. How We Use Google API Data
When you connect a Google or Gmail account to Shakehand via Google OAuth, we request access to scopes like gmail.send, gmail.readonly, or gmail.modify.
We use these permissions solely to:
- Send email campaigns and sequence follow-ups on your behalf from your linked account.
- Monitor incoming replies and bounces inside your inbox so we can stop automated sequences for active prospects (replied filters).
- Create nested threads for follow-ups (matching message headers).
Google Limited Use Policy Disclosure:
Shakehand's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not transfer, sell, or share this data to third-party advertising tools or external databases.
4. Data Sharing and Transfer
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or connected mailbox data to third parties. We only share information with trusted third-party subprocessors (such as database hostings or transactional mail systems) to the extent necessary to deliver the service, under strict data protection protocols.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete connected mailboxes at any time, which immediately purges corresponding access tokens and credentials from our servers. If you choose to delete your Shakehand account, all personal data, sequences, and log files will be permanently erased within 30 days.
